High Seas Mini Golf League Details

  • When does it start? The league will be on Tuesday evenings. It will begin Tuesday, June 4th and run until July 30th. This consists of eight weeks of league play and one week of championship play. Weekly tee time slots will be 6:30 and 7:30 those evenings.


  • Cost to Play: It will be $99 per individual or $198 per team entry.


  • Number of people/teams: The maximum amount of players will be 72, which will be comprised of (36) 2 player teams.


  • Attendance: The expectation is that each team will be able to attend on a weekly basis. You are permitted to have subs should a player not be able to make it one week. It is the responsibility of the team to find their own sub.


  • Arrival Time: At least 15 minutes prior to scheduled tee time slot.


  • Format: 2 player teams. It will consist of head-to-head matchups with another group pairing. It will contain 4 different golf format styles that will change on a weekly basis. The four format styles will be:

    1) total score per hole for you and your partner.

    2) Best score per hole between you and your partner (example - on hole 1, you score a 5 and he scores a 4, you take the better of the two for scorecard purposes).

    3) Alternate shot - this will consist of you and your partner playing only one ball and alternating between each shot.

    4) Captains choice - both players will hit their own tee shot. From there, the team will decide which tee shot they like better and then both players will play their own ball from that point until the end of hole.


  • Playoffs: The Top 10 teams will make it to the championship week. The #1 and #2 seed will get a first round bye. The remaining 8 teams will compete against one another in a first round match. The top two teams, from that match, will advance to semifinals to compete against #1 and #2 seed. The final round will determine league champion.


  • Prizes: The league will offer weekly prizes as well as end-of-season prizes. Weekly prizes will consist of $25 gift cards (per each team member). End-of-season prizes will include Charlotte FC tickets, Charlotte Knight Tickets, High Seas golf pass for the year, Pelicans gift cards, miscellaneous gift cards, and the highly coveted High Seas “Green Jacket.”


  • Other items: The league will offer contests and drink specials on a weekly basis.
